Close blinds, use fans, stay hydrated, and move to the coolest room. If indoor temp exceeds 90°F with elderly or children present, consider going somewhere cooled temporarily.
If you smell gas or burning:
Turn off your HVAC system immediately at the thermostat. If you smell gas, leave the home and call 911 first, then call Cowboys.
If water is leaking:
Turn off the system to stop condensation. Place towels or a bucket under the leak. Check your drain pan and condensate line — sometimes it's a simple clog we can walk you through.
